Restarting Airplay and AppleTV Casting

How many times have you tried to connect to an AppleTV and had the process completely time out? I came into the office this morning after trying to connect to an AppleTV last night and freaked out because I thought it was Thursday. Yup, not only was I getting the beach ball of death when mousing over the top-right of my screen, the time was also completely frozen.
If you’re trying to restart the AirPlay process, I found a simple way to do it with one command:
1 | kill $(ps aux | grep SystemUIServer | awk '{print $2}') |
This kills the AirPlay. And then restarts it! Hooray!
